The Story Behind

Rooted in the rich lore of Oz created by L. Frank Baum in 1900 and radically reimagined by Gregory Maguire in 1995, Wicked transformed modern musical theater upon its 2003 Broadway premiere at the Gershwin Theatre. Created by composer Stephen Schwartz and book writer Winnie Holzman, the narrative redefines green-skinned Elphaba Thropp and golden girl Glinda Upland from unlikely Shiz University roommates into deep, complex icons of modern mythology. This 24-day advent release commemorates the enduring power of their story, giving collectors a physical chronicle of their journey through Ozdust Ballroom nights, Emerald City confrontations, and the quiet moments that defined their destiny.

Each sculpt captured inside this countdown collection represents a key symbol from the narrative arc. Notice the micro-detailing on the miniature Grimmerie spellbook, the precise folds of Elphaba’s black witch brim, and the metallic sheen on Glinda’s bubble wand and silver slippers. The contrast between deep Shiz green and shimmering pink highlights the dual nature of these two heroines. Hanging these figures on your tree or setting them across your desk brings the emotional weight of songs like “For Good” directly into your home, serving as a daily reminder of loyalty, courage, and the choices that define us.

Care and Maintenance Guide

Keep your collectible miniatures in pristine condition by dusting them gently with a soft microfiber cloth or a dry soft-bristled artist paintbrush. Avoid using harsh chemical solvents, alcohol wipes, or abrasive cleaners, as these can strip the intricate hand-painted color finishes and metallic foil applications. Store the outer collector box flat in a cool, dry area away from direct sun exposure to prevent the vibrant green pigments and gold foil detailing from fading over time.

Each resin figurine offers a reassuring substantial heft despite its compact 2-inch scale, giving them a solid hand-feel that far surpasses flimsy plastic novelties. The outer display box features heavy-gauge, anti-crush corrugated cardstock with a soft-touch matte protective seal. Individual tray slots hold each miniature snugly during storage, ensuring zero scuffing or paint transfer when sliding compartments open day after day.

Slim & Compact Design: Designed with a space-saving silhouette that stores and displays effortlessly without adding unnecessary bulk.
