To celebrate the holiday in style, they came up with a tradition called Ugly Christmas Sweater Day.
To ensure equality amongst teammates and fans alike, every player wears a ‘Christmas sweater’. This usually means that they put bright colours in some form around their stomach with various patterns. Some players wear ugly sweaters that have seen better days – Santa has found them somewhere at the back of the sheets, some dug these sweaters from behind the bed or ceiling tiles in their attic. Others might mash two complete different qualities to create something even more strange and uniquely bad but still funky and sweet.
