Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) is an inherited blood disorder that affects hundreds of thousands of Americans, many who are unaware they have it. It primarily affects those with African-American ancestry. 1 in 12,000 people with Sickle Cell Disease will die each year, 164 will become permanently disabled, 1 in 50 will get sickle cell crisis, and 2-5 pregnancies in families with SCD will result in stillbirth. This campaign aims to reach a wider audience by popularizing an empowering message through artwork, while conveying insights into the importance of fighting against stigma.

The goal is to raise more awareness on a national scale and attract support in order to enact real change.
